Tony - Mandarin Oriental Lobby Lounge – New York, NY During our stay at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York we had a few occasions to sip a late night Champagne in the beautiful Lobby Lounge at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York.

We were lucky enough to have Tony as our waiter each time and let me say, what a refreshing breath of fresh air Tony was. We were over impressed with his attentive service on our first visit and the following night when we stopped in for a late night drink, Tony was there and greeted us by name and warmly welcomed us back.

It is not very often that one gets that kind of bombastic service in New York. All too often it seems everyone is too busy to take a few minutes to make you feel valued and welcomed, but Tony surpassed that and made us feel right at home.

I can honestly say the only reason we headed back to the Lobby Lounge was because of Tony’s flawless service, kind spirit and welcoming ways. Tony, you are bombastic!
