Our check-in process was efficient and within minutes we were shown to our Boutique Suite. Our suite had a modern décor and was parquet floored. The suite was equipped with a television, a work desk, a mini bar, a nice bathroom and enough closet space. Though our Boutique Suite was nice sized, I would call it a Deluxe Room at best, not a Suite!

The room service menu at L Hotel was very small. On top of it, they didn’t offer a breakfast menu. The staff just said they would get some things off the buffet for us. The housekeeping service was quite nice though as our suite was well maintained at all times.

L' Hotel offers 3 restaurants, L' Avenue, L' Sultan and Le Relais de Venise Son Entrecôte. L' Avenue serves French, Mediterranean and Asian cuisine in an elegant setting. Andreu World designed chairs add to the charm of this stately restaurant. L' Sultan offers Lebanese fare in a contemporary setting. This restaurant has a Middles Eastern décor with hand painted ceilings. Le Relais de Venise Son Entrecôte serves a set menu of steak, salad and frites. L’ Bar, the hotel’s bar, is popular for its signature cocktails and innovative decor.

The pool at L’ Hotel is located on the rooftop. This pool is very tiny and has no view at all. In addition, food and beverages are not served here. The fitness center located near the pool is also tiny. A sauna and steam bath are the other facilities available for relaxation. Wi-Fi available in the public areas is complimentary.

Though service at L’ Hotel was very good, the hotel charges a 15% service charge. On inquiry, we were told that this 15% goes to the hotel staff. However, we found out later that the 15% DOES NOT go to the employees, but just to the hotel’s bottom line.

Overall, I would recommend L’ Hotel as a small business hotel, but definitely not for leisure. Our rating for L’ Hotel is Between Bombastic and Not.
