As we waited for our first order we got a chance to take in George’s lovely ambiance some more. The first dish to be delivered was the amuse-bouche from the Chef. Mine was a Crab Spring Roll with mango while my partner received Chicory with pork sausage. An amuse-bouche is used to tantalize the mouth or to let the diners know what they can expect in the coming courses and this one did just that. The small bites we shared of each made us realize we were going to be in for an experience we’d not forget any time soon.



Our first course of the night was Dungeness Crab with pine nut dust and chimichurri for me and Cobia Sashimi with fennel salad and saffron couscous for my partner. Both the Crab and Cobia Sashimi were as excellent as our amuse-bouche. They were definitely fresh, beautifully presented and excellently prepared!
