Overlooking the lobby on the second floor of the JW Marriott, the Loong Bar is a modern, stylish and trendy venue for sipping on an array of signature cocktails (their most popular one being the Snafu Loong), beer, wines and an assortment of other drinks served on a feisty dragon contoured tray in a vibrant, energetic and colorful ambiance.

We stopped here for a couple of glasses of red wine at the end of a tiring day of seeing the city. The atmosphere was nice, relaxed and easy going and the service was great as well. The servers were friendly, knowledgeable and offered personalized service without hovering around too much. It was a nice place to unwind on a relaxing afternoon.

The focal point of the interiors sat right above the bar area, a spectacular gold crystal dragon imagery being created by the lights that throw an illusion of floating on the glass. The shimmering image reflected across walls, ceiling mirrors and the bar top to give the bar a stunning look.

With its comfortable seating and just as laid back atmosphere, Loong Bar is the ideal spot to grab a cocktail or bottle of wine to share with your friends or just that special someone. With it's class, style and no sense of pretense, Loong Bar get a rating a bombastic!

What I liked: The bright, contemporary ambiance, the refreshing wine along with the attentive service.

What I didn’t like: Nothing really
