Buddha Bar - Paris, France - Atmosphere - beyond BOMBASTIC, food - bombastic, service - wait staff, wonderful; manager and host, below par for a place like this.

We had reservations yet were kept in the bar waiting for over an hour yet the manager and hostess didn't seem to care. Once we got down to the dining room though, wow!

The huge Buddha statue at the front of the restaurant demands your attention as he somehow puts your mind at ease, as you slip into a tranquil world of beautiful sights, beautiful sounds, beautiful aromas and beautiful people all around you.

Our waitress was fantastic and that made up for the hour+ of waiting. The food was wow, fusion dining at its best.

But, would I go back, probably not. Would I recommend it? Let me meditate a moment; yes, you need to go at least once.
