Le Méridien Hotel - Nice, France - Location is the best thing about Le Méridien Hotel. Located right across the road from the Mediterranean, Le Méridien has some fantastic views but that does not do much to make up for the lack of knowledgeable concierges, slow service and missed wake-up calls - TWO DAYS IN A ROW or being hung up on by reception when I called to complain about it.

Definitely not the service I have come to expect from this chain. Luckily, there is a new luxury hotel down the road for me to try next time.

If location is the only thing that is important to you, then this hotel will work; but if you want good service and a knowledgeable staff, then look elsewhere, I know I will next time.
