Famous among celebrities visiting Berlin, Bocca Di Bacco is truly the place to be when you want to experience classic and authentic Italian dishes. However, the place could get crowded and loud at times since the restaurant is a popular place among business men and young socialites alike.

The elegant restaurant recreated the ambiance of a true Italian restaurant by its stylish interior designed by Stegano Viviani, a well known Tuscan interior designer. The place exuded the real Italian setting with warm tones used around the restaurant, enhanced by the dark wooden and contemporary furniture and colorful paintings by Massimo Catallini.

Bocca Di Bacco offered a wide selection of Italian cuisines from sumptuous fresh fish to exceptional meat dishes. We ordered their Ravioli Di Anatra Al Burro E Timo which was ravioli filled with duck and served with delicious butter and thyme sauce. This dish was just beyond excellent and has a very impressive taste.

We also had their Carre D’Agnelio in Crosta D’Erbe Con Salsa Al Vino Rosso, a lamb served with herb crust and poured over with red wine sauce. This dish was surprisingly delicious despite its unappealing presentation.

Another sumptuous dish we tried was the Paccheri Di Gragnano Con Calamaretti Bottarga, an Italian dish with gragnano pasta served with squid and dried roe young.

Bocca Di Bacco’s over 300 wine selection was overwhelming and it was a bit hard for us to choose the right wine but luckily, the restaurant had a wine specialist who helped us choose Bricco dell’ Ucellone to complete our dining experience.

The service at Bocca Di Bacco was also exceptional and we couldn’t ask for more than how the waiters attended and served us. We didn’t feel like we were rushed with our meal so it was a very good dining experience.

Bocca Di Bacco deserved a solid rating of Bombastic and tons of recommendations from us.

What I liked: Extensive Italian wine selection, Duck filled ravioli, Lamb with red wine sauce, Superb service
What I didn’t like: Noise level (at times)
