While Jakarta is not typically known as a tourist destination, there are still many things to see in and around Jakarta, namely Chinatown, Sunda Kelapa, better known as Pasar Ikan (meaning fish market) and a tour of the tea plantations, but because of the extreme traffic conditions and poor infrastructure of the roads, be prepared for a long and slow journey.
