Nerano Luxury Hotel Reviews and Nerano Restaurant Reviews

Nerano, Italy is a small fishing village located between the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento. Enchanted by the village’s beauty, Emperor Tiberio Nerone built a villa in this area and called the village Neronianum, which eventually became known as Nerano.

While it is small and charming, the sites to see here are abundant: the beautiful beach Marina del Cantone, the fiord of Crapolla, the Natural Marine Reserve of Punta Campanella, Jeranto Bay, the Grotta delle Noglie, historic towers and houses, and enchanting villas. Probably the most magnificent, however, is the view from the village which encompasses the entire Gulf of Salerno, Li Galli, Vetara, the Amalfi Coast, Jeranto Bay, Punta della Campanella, and Capri.

The cuisine here is mostly seafood and fish-based. While restaurants are more casual and laid-back rather than chic and trendy, the experience of dining close to the sea and taking in the awe-inspiring view while sipping a good bottle of wine and eating some of the freshest fish you’ve had is utterly priceless. For an unforgettable Nerano experience, I highly recommend Taverna del Capitano.
