Ristorante Lineadombra - Venice, Italy:
Located away from the busiest tourist areas of Venice, Ristorante Lineadombra offers stunning views as well as great Venetian cuisine.

I was there on a cool fall evening. so I was not able to take advantage of the exquisite, candlelit terrace which sits on the water and is easily one of the most beautiful spots for dinner in Venice.

Inside Lineadombra it is almost as beautiful. Decorated in a simple, chic and trendy, relaxed design, it instantly makes you comfortable and ready for a memorable evening you won't soon forget.

The menu centers on Venetian specialties offering up a nice selection of fish and of course, a large selection of pastas. The wine list has an extensive Italian offerings but does not leave out favorites from around the world.

Service was good but at times, they seemed a bit eager, almost to the point of hovering. It was a slow evening so I credit their eagerness on that.

Prices are on the high end but the atmosphere and cuisine are worth it.

If you go, book in advance. If the weather cooperates, dine on the terrace for the best views. If you dine inside, book a table at the window, it is the best spot in the restaurant.

Most importantly, go with a relaxed attitude and be prepared to be wowed.
