Cocoa Room from the creators of Slider Station, Open Flame Kitchen and Burger Boutique serves what has to be the best best breakfast in Kuwait. Located opposite the Al-Seef palace, this restaurant serves breakfast until 3:00 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and until 1 to 1:30 pm during the rest of the week. Dinner starts at 7:00 pm every day.

Situated next to Slider Station, Cocoa Room is a cozy and small restaurant with comfortable seating and fancy lighting. A custom fitted velvet sofa runs alongside the restaurants walls. The tables were set with beautiful cutlery from Italian providers La Tavola.

We were at Cocoa Room for breakfast and found the place packed. The breakfast menu offered a variety of options such as sandwiches, salads, pancakes, waffles, French toast and a number of egg dishes. Some of these were Cocoa Room Eggs Benedict, Scrambled Egg Money Bags, Kuwaiti Scrambled Eggs and Eggs Menemen. The dessert section offered a good selection as well with options such as Nutella French Toast, Chocolate Brioche Tower, Strawberry Nutella Crepes, Brownie Pancakes and Raspberry and White Chocolate Pancakes.

After much deliberation, we ordered the Migas, Burrito Del Sol and Autumn Pancakes. The Migas consisted of scrambled eggs served with fried tortilla, onions, chili peppers, fresh tomatoes, jack cheese, refried beans and a couple of flour tortillas. The Burrito Del Sol on the other hand was made of scrambled eggs, cheddar and jack cheese, bacon, scallions, jalapeno sour cream and refried beans. Both the dishes were very fresh and tasted great. Even the tortillas are freshly made at this restaurant. The Autumn Pancakes were served with maple syrup and was made of pumpkin, cinnamon and pecan butter. The pancakes were simply amazing. Who knew you could get breakfast this good in Kuwait?!

Service at Cocoa Room was nice and friendly. Our bill came to 12 KD with coffee and tea, which is quite reasonable for Kuwait in my opinion. Since we did not have dinner here, I will not be able to comment on it. However, if the Cocoa Room's breakfast is any indication, I bet it is just as awesome.

Overall, Cocoa Room is a perfect choice for breakfast in Kuwait. In fact, this restaurant serves the best breakfast in Kuwait. The high quality of the dishes at Cocoa Room has compelled us to give this restaurant a resounding Bombastic rating.
