Lorenzo's Italian Restaurant - Salhiya Kuwait: Located in front of the Salhiya Complex, Lorenzo's is a cozy Italian Restaurant that serves traditional Italian cuisine with a modern twist. The menu includes a wide variety of dishes including sandwiches, pastas and pizzas. The outside dining area is set near a large water fountain that drowns out the surrounding city noise and offers a very relaxing place for lunch or dinner.

We started with a delightfully fresh and crisp green salad. The portion was large enough for me and my dining partner to share. With the large portions that they served, I could have been satisfied and full with just a soup or half a sandwich after the salad, but I had seen their pizza before and just had to try one.

Lorenzo’s serves what I believe is one of the best pizzas in Kuwait. I tried their margarita pizza with Italian cheese and added-on salami, and was treated to a fabulously delicious thin-crusted pizza. It was very much in line with the authentic margarita pizzas I have tried in Napoli, Italy where the recipe originates. My dining partner had the pasta Arabiata with chicken and she agreed that it was one of the best dishes she has ever had in Kuwait.

Service was attentive enough but keep in mind that this is a casual restaurant, so don't go in expecting too much in the way of service. I had heard that their desserts are also wonderful here, especially their chocolate cheese cake, but after a hefty serving of salad, pizza and pasta we just didn't have any room left in our stomachs. Overall my experience at Lorenzo's in Salhiya was Bombastic.
