De Mondion Restaurant at The Xara Palace Hotel - Malta - Picture being high atop a hill overlooking the lights of Malta at night and you can envision the view from the restaurant in Mdina. Gorgeous, breathtaking, bombastic and the experience at De Mondion is exactly the same way. It's a bit of a drive from The Westin Dragonara but worth every minute spent in the taxi. Visiting Mdina at night is an experience in itself but dining at this palace is an experience you will not soon forget. Be sure to call ahead for reservations and make sure you ask for a table with a great view.
