San Giuliano - Malta - Voted the best Italian food in Malta (by me) is San Giuliano. From their large second story dining room you get a beautiful view of Spinella Bay and St. Julian's. Noted for their Italian cuisine, we tried San Giuliano and are extremely pleased that we did. The atmosphere is a bit loud and the dining room a tad congested. However, the black risotto I ordered (which I've never tried before) made me forget about everything except the food, wine and beautiful view. The wine menu was large and the dessert menu was just as varied. If you love Italian food, and who does not, then San Giuliano is the place for you. As with all of the top places in Malta reservations are recommended.
