Westin Dragonara – Malta: Malta has a special place in my heart because of its rejuvenating climate and hodge-podge Mediterranean cuisine. Its rich culture and significance to Western history also make it an interesting stop for travelers.

We stayed at the Westin Dragonara during our last stay at Malta, and words simply cannot describe this gorgeous five star luxury hotel. From the drive up to its enormous facade to the spacious lobby that greets you with the best of what Malta has to offer, the Westin Dragonara can stand toe to toe with the best hotels the world over.

Service was excellent, and the room that was given to us was just superb: it was at the corner of the hotel’s front. It had a large balcony with beautiful rattan furniture that offered a breathtaking view of the sea, which is a must if you’re staying in a hotel of this caliber. The food was also splendid, and the hotel has several restaurants to try out if you’d like to dine with a view.

Housekeeping was relatively transparent, which means that we never saw them coming in our room to clean while we were there. Each and every time we entered our room, everything was in order and well-made.

The atmosphere, service, fantastic room and excellent food make me give the Westin Dragonara a Bombastic rating. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Malta!
