The Ritz-Carlton, San Juan Hotel, Spa & Casino - San Juan, Puerto, Rico: Mentioning Puerto Rico fetches images of idyllic sandy beaches and other tourist favorites that can only be found in the Land of Enchantments. The famous archipelago is home to many resorts, vacation spots and hotels, and among them is the world-famous Ritz-Carlton San Juan. Who said that a day at the beach can't be capped off with an evening of Blackjack?

The Ritz-Carlton lives up to its franchise heritage: absolutely fabulous, luxurious, stunning, and drop-dead gorgeous. There are a million other superlatives that you could think of, and most of them would probably fit the Ritz-Carlton to a tee. This obviously translates well to the service as well as the room that we stayed in, which was rightfully spacious, well equipped and simply extraordinary. Our room faced the ocean, and it was truly a breathtaking sight to wake up to each morning.

Aside from these, the Ritz-Carlton also offers an assortment of restaurants to choose from, making sure that you don't go through a day on an empty stomach. We particularly enjoyed the Sushi Bar for their fresh-from-the-ocean sashimi and sushi.

For all the Ritz-Carlton's extravagant and luxurious trappings combined with the best service on the island, I'm giving this a rating of Bombastic.
