Located on the beautiful island of Mahé in the Seychelles, is the stunning Four Seasons Resort. Nestled along the shore of the Indian Ocean, aside a gorgeous and very swimmable beach, the Four Seasons Seychelles is one of those resorts that has something for everyone.

We visited the Seychelles to check out a number of resorts for our sister company, The Luxury Travel Agency. Our goal was to find the very best properties we could for our clients and the only way to do that was to visit them in person; and I am so happy that we did.

The Four Seasons was our last stop on our ten day, mini-tour of the Seychelles and you’ve heard the saying, save the best for last, well in this case, that was true in many respects.

The setting was perfect and the view from our Hilltop Ocean-View Villa gave us stunning views of the ocean, the beach and the resort below. Our villa was perfectly appointed, as you would expect at a five-star resort. Classy and comfortable, tasteful and stylish; we wanted for nothing.

The Four Seasons Resort Seychelles offers a huge array of activities including one of the most active kids camps I’ve ever seen, most every water sport imaginable (jet skis are off property), a complete fitness center, a gorgeous spa, yoga and more. This resort is a definitely the place to stay if you get bored after two days of relaxing and reading books!

The Four Seasons Resort Seychelles has a great variety of restaurants. Our favorite by far was ZEZ Lounge and their totally tasty, surely sumptuous sashimi and sushi! If I had one complaint, it would be that we waited until our last night to try this restaurant! Had we known it was so good, we would have found a way to squeeze in another visit.

Service throughout our stay was perfect in every way. Now, I say that with the caveat that they knew we were there “checking out” their property. But, I am confident, that the same warmth and attentiveness shown to us, is shown to all guests. No one could get that many people to be kind and service oriented on demand; it surely must be part of their culture.

Now, we were looking at this property thinking, is this a place The Luxury Travel Agency could confidently send their clients. And yes, most definitely! If you have the chance to visit the Four Seasons Resort Seychelles do it!
