The Vintry Wine Bar & Restaurant in Singapore has the largest and most diverse selection of wines in Singapore. This 3000 sq. ft. bar has more than 1000 different labels of wine by the bottle and features four Enomatic wine dispensing machines.

My partner and I visited this Singapore wine bar after a less than filling dinner at Hide Yamamoto and a disappointing stop at Oosh Bar. We were walking on Clarke Quay when we came across this mostly empty Vintry Wine Bar wine bar. We decided to check this bar since it had a definite charm about it.

The Vintry Wine Bar at Clarke Quay has a laid-back ambience with its rustic, red brick walls and soft, warm lighting. Contemporary Royal Selangor handmade metalesce tiles and dark wood wine shelves complement the red brick walls. The seating is made up of secluded booths, low tables, high barrel tables and a long tasting table. Wines are displayed in library style, arranged by varietal.

The Vintry Wine Bar has four state-of-the-art Italian-made Enomatic Wine-Serving Systems. These systems offer 32 different wine choices. The wines are dispensed by the glass in three sizes – a tasting portion (25ml), a half (75ml) and a full (150ml) glass. Customers have to purchase a stored-value wine card to select and dispense wines. This enables customers to sample wines before buying and also to taste rare vintages by the glass. The selection of wines “on tap” is rotated on a regular basis. The wines on offer range from the Sauvignon Blancs to noble Barolos.

Vintry also offers Asian-influenced western food. We ordered a cheese tray, sampled a number of wines and even ordered a couple plates to share. The Vintry Roast Pork, cooked Cantonese-style is very popular. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, it was fun to be able to try so many different wines. The service at this Singapore wine bar is very attentive and efficient. The Vintry Wine Bar is ideal for going out with that special someone or even with a group of friends.

Overall, my experience at the Vintry Wine Bar in Singapore was Bombastic.
