Beautiful Boutique Hotel in Istanbul

Ajia Hotel – Istanbul, Turkey: The Ajia Hotel is an energizing retreat from the chaotic city life of Istanbul, Turkey. Because the whole property is isolated and surrounded by water, you have to take several trips before you get to the hotel from the city; but I assure you, it is well worth the long travel. Upon my arrival, I was impressed by the hotel’s architecture, which was fashioned after an old mansion, albeit a small one. It was a stark contrast once I entered the hotel, as the interior was like any contemporary luxury boutique hotel. The man at the front desk was very accommodating and escorted us to our suites immediately.

When I got inside the room, I was instantly pleased as it was one of the most spacious of the limited 16 rooms in the hotel. It had a balcony with two doors that opened to a romantic sight of the Mediterranean. From there, you can also catch a glimpse of the city. The bathroom was very simple yet elegant. It had a charmingly old-fashioned bath tub, clean sink, and luxurious bath supplies.

The hotel also had excellent housekeeping and room service—they were thorough, attentive and courteous throughout our stay. The hotel had a boat that took us to the other side of the sea for free. By boat, must-see places are only 5 minutes away as opposed to going there by car which can take a good 30 minutes or more.

Overall, I give this hotel my Bombastic rating!
