Miami, Florida is located in the south of Florida and is one of its major cities. br>
The Miami Metropolitan Area has a population of over 5.4 million people, making it the fourth largest urban area in the country, just after New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. The economic inequality here is apparent, and the mix of cultures is considerable: a melting pot of Caribbean, Latin American, Asian and Jewish immigrants, as well as red-necks, pensioners, celebrities, trust-fund babies, wannabes and a fabulous gay party scene.

With that said, Miami has something for everyone—from the most sinful of luxuries and the chicest of the chic (such as the Delano Hotel, which I reviewed here) to bohemian artsy and hipster communities, and from kitschy art deco dwellings to no-nonsense hearty Latin American home-cooked cuisines. Miami can cater to the most discriminating, as well as the most deviant and extreme of tastes. It is a “Magic City,” indeed.
