A quiet place to relax
KAL - Business Class Lounge at Seoul Gimpo International Airport: The KAL Business Class Lounge at Seoul Gimpo International Airport is located on the third floor of the East Wing towards the left hand side of the departure entrance. Open daily from 06:30 am, this lounge closes 40 minutes before the departure of the last flight. The amenities offered by KAL business class lounge can be availed by First and Business class passengers, Skypass Million Miler, Morning Calm and SkyTeam Elite Plus members. The KAL Lounge at Seoul Gimpo International Airport was quite spacious. The lounge was furnished with basic yet comfortable sofas and chairs. Natural light was coming in through the glass paneled wall on one side. The glass paneling also offered great views of the tarmac. A number of small snacks and drinks were available, though choices were rather limited. The staff at the lounge were polite and friendly.
The KAL Lounge is located in a secluded spot and hence was very quiet. Only newspapers printed in Korea, Japan or China were available at the lounge. Also, there were no computers on offer. Complimentary Wi-Fi was available throughout the lounge. The shower rooms were clean. However, they were stocked with basic amenities. The lounge also had a small smoking room equipped with a plasma TV.
Overall, the KAL Lounge at Seoul Gimpo International Airport is a quiet place to relax in before a flight, but not great enough to give it a Bombastic rating.
