Nothing Special, but Better than the Public Waiting Areas
Pearl Lounge at Kuwait Airport – Kuwait : The Pearl Lounge is one of the two airport lounges located at the Kuwait International Airport. The Pearl Lounge, which was recently remodeled, is a collaboration project between Crowne Plaza Kuwait and National Aviation Services which provides catering services for different qualified passengers. The Pearl Lounge is primarily available for usage of eligible First and Business class passengers from regular airline members such as the Emirates, Ukraine Air, British Air, Tunisia Air, Qatar Airline, Bahrain, Lufthansa, Turkish Air, Etihad, Air France, Air Arabia, KLM, Ethiopian, Oman Air, Jet Airways, Singapore Air, Egyptian Air, Royal Jordanian, Sri Lanka Air, and United Airlines. However, priority passes are also given to Diners Club and American Express card holders.
The whole area of the Pearl Lounge is lined with a series of huge, overfilled chairs. These chairs are separated by small coffee tables which make you close to seating with a stranger and you cannot enjoy enough privacy while at the lounge. The Pearl Lounge also fills up quick and has the tendency to become super busy because it is occupied by numerous passengers from different airlines.
The dining area of the Pearl Lounge has four big tables for dining and a small buffet table with finger foods, breakfast food like croissants in the morning and Indian dishes in the afternoon and evening. The dining area also has a small bar which serves coffee and other beverages.
The Pearl Lounge also provides entertainment amenities such as the designated large TV screens with BBC on the channel, complimentary internet access, and a small playing area for children. The Pearl Lounge also provides the facility of relaxing rooms and washrooms which allow passengers to refresh before the next flight. The washrooms have also selected area for baby-changing facilities.
