Lufthansa First Class Terminal Lounge - Frankfurt, Germany: The Lufthansa First Class Terminal in Frankfurt, Germany is in an entirely new class of its own. It is, without a doubt, the finest airport lounge in Germany. Indeed, it is not your average first class lounge. It is housed in a wholly separate building just minutes from Terminal One. It has a stylish and chic interior, yet comfortably luxurious at the same time. It is as if you were waiting in a hotel lounge, not the airport! Upon our arrival, we were immediately greeted by a personal assistant who took our tickets, passports and luggage for checking in. The security checkpoint was so fast and efficient; there was absolutely no waiting in line. We were escorted to the lounge area and within minutes, our personal assistant came back with our boarding pass.

The Lufthansa first class lounge is complete with a fine dining restaurant, quiet zones, sleeping rooms, cigar lounge, fully stocked bathroom (nothing than a shower to refresh yourself for the next leg of your trip), individual office units and of course, free Wi-Fi.

Once situated in the lounge I headed to the dining room for a five-star lunch. White table clothes, elegant china and stemware and unbelievable service just enhanced the amazing selection of lunch items, and of course, the great selection of wines. Eating here is better than many fine dining restaurants I've tried in the past; and the best part, when you are all done, there isn't a bill to pay.

After lunch, I headed off to a sleeping room where I had the luxury of two hours of sound sleep. It's not often you can get that on a layover! I woke up in time for a quick shower and headed over to the small but completely private bathroom.

When it was time for departure a personal assistant came and escorted me to driver who then took us out to the waiting Mercedes S-Class and then off directly to the aircraft. By the time we got there, it was ready for takeoff. Overall the experience was Fantastic Bombastic!
